Add the widget to WordPress

   Step 1:

   Copy the code

   In Citypicked, open “Showcase”, then “Website widget”. Click “Copy code” next to the code with a script.

   Step 2:

   Add the block

   In WordPress, open the page in the editor. Click the plus at the top, search for “html” and pick the “Custom HTML” block. Or type /html in an empty paragraph and press Enter.

   Step 3:

   Paste the code

   Click “Edit HTML” in the block. Paste the code into the field and click “Update”.

   Step 4:

   Save

   Click “Save” at the top, or “Publish” for a new page.

   Check it

   Open the page on your website. The widget appears as soon as you scroll to it.

If WordPress removes the code

Only users who may add unfiltered HTML in WordPress, such as administrators, can save scripts and iframes. For other roles, WordPress removes the code when you save. Then ask someone with administrator rights to paste it.

On WordPress.com, scripts and iframes need a paid plan with hosting features turned on. A paid plan alone is not enough.
